काल रविवारी आमच्या ९ जणांच्या ग्रुप ने पाली दरवाजाद्वारे राजगड किल्ल्यावर एक अद्भुत ट्रेक पूर्ण केला. तशी राजगडावर जायची माझी पाचवी वेळ याआधी गुंजवण्यातून ट्रेक केलेले, पाली दरवाजाने जाण्याची ही पहिलीच वेळ. या ट्रेकने निसर्गाच्या सौंदर्य तर अनुभवलेच परंतु राजगडाच्या पायऱ्यांसोबतच इतिहासाच्या पायऱ्यामध्येही आमचा प्रवास झाला. सह्याद्री पर्वतरांगातील राजगडचे स्थान, त्यांची अद्भुत रूपे आणि महत्त्वपूर्ण ऐतिहासिक स्थळे यांचा अनुभव घेण्याची संधी आम्हाला मिळाली. आणि महाराजांनी आपल्या राजधानी साठी राजगडच का निवडला याचिदेखील प्रचिती येते. सह्याद्री पर्वत, ज्याला पश्चिम घाट म्हणूनही ओळखले जाते, भारताच्या निसर्ग सौंदर्यात एक अनमोल रत्न आहे. यामध्ये असलेले किल्ले, गड आणि ऐतिहासिक ठिकाणे मराठा साम्राज्याच्या इतिहासात महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका बजावतात. स्वराज्याची पाहिली राजधानी राजगड किल्ला, विशेषतः छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांनी २६ वर्षे या गडावरून कारभार पहिला. राजगड म्हणजे मराठा साम्राज्याच्या गुढतेचे प्रतीक आहे. सकाळी ५ वाजता हडपसर, पुणे येथून निघाल्यानंतर सासवड ला नेहमीच्या ठिकाणी चहा नाश्ता करून आम्ही पा...
